This is a story of a Tiny Pig and his not so tiny aspirations. Illustrated in six colours the books is capable of being screen printed. Created using Autodesk Sketchbook, on the Surface Pro 4, each illustration is juxtaposition of many detailed patterns that draw their main features from the Gond art. Gond art is practiced by a tribe of Central India that believes that patterns create a rhythm. For me, they create a dialogue of imagination and interpretation with the audience and lend the art a unique indigenous flavour. The drawings are flat and linked with the density of detail and colour palette.
