Daalcheeni is a boutique graphic design studio based in Delhi & Goa (India) that works closely with socially-responsible individuals, start-ups, and non-profit organisations.  They believe that every time they toss love with design, a lovely, flavourful and spicy aroma wafts out of it. They connect this fragrance to daalcheeni (cinnamon; a spice with a sweet and medicinal quality) that eons ago turned the ancient Malabar Coast and mammoth empires upside down. It is this fun story of their studio that they wanted to be translated on the cover of a diary. The colours were picked from their website while the execution was screen printed.
